Lid Too Close to the Trunnion Bar?
A quick plastic spacer riveted to the lid end makes jaw positioning under tight lids a whole lot easier.
On some rear-load containers, the lid sits too close to the trunnion bar -- close enough that getting the Johnny Jaws into position underneath it becomes a hassle on every pickup.
The fix is simple and takes just a few minutes. Rivet a small piece of plastic onto the end of the lid. That spacer pushes the lid up just enough to give the jaws clean clearance on the approach, making positioning significantly easier and keeping your service time tight.
No special tools, no taking the container out of service, no calling a welder. It's the kind of field-level adjustment your drivers or maintenance crew can handle on the spot.
